Buddhidhan notifies Saubhagyadevi that Vidyachatur dispatched Kusum to gaze after Kumud. Naveenchandra proposes him toorganise a party. Saubhagyadevi wonders if Kusum can get wed to Naveenchandra. Kumud proceeds to Naveenchandra's room totalk about about Kusum. Kalika sees Kumud in Naveenchandra's room. Kumud convinces Pramad to join the party on the statusthat she will talk about about Saraswatichandra. Buddhidhan doubts that Pramad will not join the party. Finally, Pramad gets clothedfor the party.Saraswatichandra and Kumud take a raise back home. Kumud reports Saubhagyadevi that Pramad left her stranded. She inquires Pramad to share his likes and dislikes. Pramad inquires her about Saraswatichandra. Buddhidhan screams at Pramad for departing Kumud stranded. Kusum comes to Kumud's house. Pramad asserts Kusum to rendezvous Naveenchandra. He reports Naveenchandra that Kusum has arrive home. Kumud's family sees Pramad in his drunken state. Vidyachatur repents for getting Kumud wed to Pramad. Kumud asserts on altering Pramad. Vidyachatur inquires Kumud not to conceal any thing from him. He breaks down into tears on considering about Kumud's life. Saraswatichandra feels at fault on glimpsing Vidyachatur. He concludes to forfeit his love for Kumud and support her in altering Pramad. He proceeds beside the lagoon, where his mother pledged suicide, and vows to make Kumud's marital life successful.
